The Bangkok University Landmark Complex consists of three buildings ranging from 4 to 6 floors, with building area totaling 26,000 square meters. The facilities include classrooms, seminar rooms, a 1,600 seats multifunction room, student lounges, Art Creative Building and Science Technology Building. The distinctive architecture derived from the shape of diamond, the Bangkok University symbol, to reflect the conviction as academic institution to polish students. It also boldly represents the university vision as Creative University. The interior design takes clue from the architectural language to embrace flow of continuity from outside to inside. The design not only has to respond to functional requirements but also focus especially on the students needs as the primary users of the buildings. Materials chosen are specified with durability and ease of maintenance in mind within reasonable budget. Environmentally friendly materials such as recycled plywood for wall and door panels, recycled plastic leftover from button manufacturing process were used as part of terrazzo flooring and also energy efficient lighting. Design principle is oriented around four main areas students, creativity, functionality and environmental friendliness; to meet the vision of the leading private academic institution.
